INDRADEEP GHOSH
Indradeep Ghosh, celebrated as the “Prince of Violin,” is India’s leading Indian Classical violinist and its only classical violist, renowned for his custom five‑string violin and viola inspired by the Hardanger fiddle. A global performer, he has appeared at major festivals including SXSW (USA), Festival Du Bout Du Monde (France), and the Asia Festival (Barcelona), and has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Grammy winner Mamadou Diabate and drummer Steve Smith. An “A” grade All India Radio artist, he has released numerous classical and fusion albums, created new ragas, and earned international honors—including a City of Houston proclamation recognizing “Indradeep Ghosh Day.”
Indranil Mallick
Indranil Mallick, a promising tabla player of rare skill, has already established himself both as a soloist and accompanist. Born to a family of genuine music connoisseurs, he received his initial training in tabla when he was only five, from his uncle, Sri Montu Mallick. Later he was trained by Prof. Dhabol Bandyapadhaya. From 1985 he was under the guidance of Sri Uttam Chakraborty, senior disciple of Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri. Now he is under the guidance of Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri . Indranil belongs to Luckhnow Gharana style of tabla. Indranil is a grade 'A' artist of All India Radio, Kolkata where he is featured regularly on programs aired throughout India. He holds a Master Degree in Economics from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.
