Rajendra Gangani

Pandit Rajendra Gangani, an undisputed master of Kathak and a leading exponent of the illustrious Jaipur gharana, began his training in early childhood under his father and guru, Pt. Kundan Lal Gangani, before refining his craft at Delhi’s Kathak Kendra. A rhythmic virtuoso, inspired choreographer, and performer of rare intensity, he blends dazzling precision, expressive depth, and a musical sensibility shaped by his command of the tabla, pakhawaj, and harmonium. Recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, he has captivated major international stages with his innovative compositions and made history in 2024 when 1,484 dancers performed his choreography in Khajuraho, setting a Guinness World Record. Today, he remains one of the most influential figures in the global Kathak landscape, carrying forward a living legacy that continues to inspire generations of dancers.

Hemant Panwar

Hemant Panwar is an Indian singer and Kathak dancer, trained in the Jaipur gharana under master Rajendra Gangani. A versatile artist, he performs, choreographs, teaches, and sings across semi‑classical and folk traditions. Together with his wife, Vaishali Panwar, he leads Panwar Music & Dance Productions, promoting Indian classical arts internationally. Now based in Canada, he continues to create, teach, and share the richness of Kathak with audiences and students around the world.

Pankaj Mishra

Pankaj Mishra is an accomplished sarangi virtuoso from one of India’s most respected musical lineages, the great‑grandson of Pt. Saraju Prasad Mishra and trained under the renowned maestro Pt. Mahesh Prasad Mishra. Known for his sensitive, expressive style, he has performed worldwide, accompanying legendary vocalists such as Girija Devi and collaborating with leading tabla maestros. His artistry is admired across both traditional and contemporary music circles, and he has recorded with internationally acclaimed musicians. Now based in Toronto, he continues to tour, teach, and carry forward the rich tradition of the Banaras gharana.

Fateh Singh Gangani

Pandit Fateh Singh Gangani is a distinguished tabla maestro of the celebrated Gangani lineage of the Jaipur gharana, known for its powerful rhythmic tradition. Trained within this illustrious family of percussionists, he developed a style marked by clarity, speed, and deeply rooted traditional repertoire. A sought‑after accompanist and soloist, he has performed with leading Kathak dancers and classical musicians across India and abroad. Revered for his command of layakari and his dynamic stage presence, he continues to uphold and transmit the rich rhythmic heritage of the Gangani family to new generations.
