About the Concert

ArtChoral: MèreNoël - Experience the beauty, intimacy, and power of chamber music in the stunning Art Deco heritage hall of Montreal, Le 9e Grande Salle!

The professional singers of ArtChoral perform a capella vocal works from ArtChoral’s ATMA album “Noël”, including Christmas songs cherished across continents and centuries. MèreNoël invites families to celebrate the joy of being together, for a moment of purity and bliss a few days before Christmas.

9e Musique@17h, the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5pm for a one-hour duration, invites the audience to enjoy a drink during the concerts, meet the artists, and reserve a table at the 9e Île-de-France restaurant for the post-concert dinner.

Musicians

Janelle Lucyk, soprano and artistic director of ArtChoral at Le 9e and Musique Royale, has "an angelic voice. Her expressiveness is beyond words."

Rosalie Lane Lépine, mezzo-soprano : hailed for her “rare perfection of style and spirit” (Christophe Huss, Le Devoir)

Kerry Bursey, tenor, described as a “mega musical talent” (NRC, Netherlands), with a voice of “sweet troubadour-like reverie” – Ôlyrix, France
