A longtime fixture on the Canadian comedy scene, Pryde’s career took off after early competition success and a win at the Just for Laughs Comedy Night in Canada Competition, leading to performances across Canada and on stages in the U.K., USA, and Australia. Hosted by the hilarious Julien Dionne, with an opening act to be announced, this show promises a high-energy evening of standout comedy.

David Pryde

David Pryde is a Montreal-based stand-up comic known for smart, cerebral humour (which he assumes just means “very funny”). After early success in comedy competitions, including winning the Just for Laughs Comedy Night in Canada in 1999, he went on to perform across Canada as well as in the U.K., U.S., and Australia. He has appeared at major comedy festivals, had a Comedy Now! special on CTV, made multiple appearances on CBC’s The Debaters, and even delivered a quick joke on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. David has been nominated three times for Canadian Comedy Awards, including twice for Best Male Stand-Up.

Julien Dionne

Originally from Scoudouc, New Brunswick, Julien Dionne is a bilingual comedian with international recognition. The New Brunswicker is a multiple-time nominee of prestigious comedy awards, such as the Canadian Comedy Awards, and has headlined renowned comedy festivals all across Canada. In addition to performing on an international level, Julien is a mainstay of the local comedy scene, regularly hosting and performing at stand-up shows at comedy clubs in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. His energetic style and unique material make him both an entertaining and essential performer in the Canadian comedy scene.

Le Néo-Brunswickois a été nominé à plusieurs reprises pour des prix en humour, notamment aux Canadian Comedy Awards, et a été en tête d’affiche de divers festivals d'humour réputés comme Juste Pour Rire.
