Come craft a zine with Mary Thaler, author and illustrator of numerous comic zines!
Beloved by poets, artists, and activists, zines are small, handmade books that anyone can make to share art, stories, or information. In this 60-minute workshop, kids will come up with an idea for what they want to say and use art supplies to turn their message into a zine they can share with friends.

This activity is offered as a one-time event before the start of the next season of the S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Club. This program welcomes children ages 8 to 12 who love to experiment, create, and learn more about the world around them.
