Led by singer, composer, and choreographer Guynard Mungu, aka Inspecto, Guynard & New Formule proudly celebrates Congolese rumba, a genre that is both musical and dance-based, so influential that it gave rise to Soukous and Ndombolo, and recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2021. Following in the footsteps of great legends such as Tabu Ley Rocheleau and the legendary Zaiko Langa Langa, the group displays an exuberant and joyful energy that sets the mood and showcases the rich cultural diversity of the two Congos.
