An atypical artist, NORKANE, whose real name is Noureddine Ghandriche, a singer, performer born in ibetrunen not far from the centre of Tizi Ouzou, born in 1976, began his solo musical career in 2015 with his first album Amghith (The Saviour), which he recorded in Algiers. 

(Amghith is a prayer and a call to humanis1ne in order to save the poor).

This was long after he had founded his first group between 2000 and 2005, called Groupe Africa, where he won first prize for Amazigh song, 

In 2016, NORKANE moved to Canada, where he won the second prize for world song, in 2018 the release of the single (Hadder as tinnid), He participated in the festival nuits d'Afrique in Montreal in 2019, His music is made of African folk rhythms, Kabyle fusion with also rhythms latino jazz and rock.
