During the 90s, Juliet Nelson was part of Penthouse Records, the Jamaican dancehall reggae music label created in 1987 by the legendary producer Donovan Germain, famous for having defined a modern, powerful and very sophisticated sound. At the time, she was collaborating with well-known musician, Buju Banton. She then joined Worl-A-Girl, a popular New York band before returning to Montreal in 1997. Juliet Nelson has a gentle reggae style. Kindled by the singer’s smooth voice and bathed in soul, her music is first and foremost about love.
