Opening: Caroline Savoie

Her story started with The Voice in France and hundreds of shows across Canada, the U.S. and Europe. That led to a need to reclaim herself and her Acadian roots. There’s melancholy when she sings and humorous energy when she speaks. She shines in singing love and truth. Her nuanced voice resonates long after the show is over.

Closing: Étienne Fletcher

There is a truly touching presence in his world of song. His voice and the lyrics bear tender wounds. His compelling musical textures give wide dimensions and soaring uplift to stories of life and death and all that breathes in between. His intimate performances are infused with pride for his Prairie French heritage.

Caroline Savoie et Étienne Fletcher

Caroline Savoie

Caroline Savoie, a seasoned artist of the Francophone music scene, presents her fourth album Rom-Com, in which she takes on the role of producer for the first time with complete creative freedom. After a decade of success on stage and working on albums with renowned producers such as Jay Newland (Norah Jones), Philippe Brault (Pierre Lapointe, Ingrid St-Pierre), and Joe Grass (Patrick Watson, Elisapie), this time she delves into a world inspired by her favorite romantic comedies from her teenage years. Both a true romantic and undeniably witty, Caroline Savoie guides us through an album built like a soundtrack—full of triumphant love stories, but also unafraid to explore the complexities of more painful relationships. Embracing who we are and making our own choices is a lifelong journey, and this young Acadian artist navigates both calm waters and the fiercest storms with equal grace.

With over 600 performances across Europe, the United States, and Canada, Caroline Savoie leaves a lasting impression through her nuanced voice and poignant lyrics that continue to resonate long after the show ends.

Étienne Fletcher

There’s something deeply moving about Étienne Fletcher’s world. With a voice marked by gentle scratches, the singer-songwriter finds just the right words to express life, death, and everything that breathes in between.

Originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, he stands out today as one of the most influential artists of his generation on the French-Canadian music scene. In 2022, Étienne Fletcher was named “Francophone Artist of the Year” at the West Coast Music Awards and won the European Tour Prize at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby.

He also received awards at Chant’Ouest and Nouvelle Scène (Audience Choice Award, SOCAN Song Award) in 2015, won multiple prizes at the Granby International Song Festival in 2016, at the Cabaret Festif! emerging artists showcase in 2018, and was named Rock Artist of the Year at the Trille Or Awards in 2019. A former member of the band Indigo Joseph, he has since emerged from the Canadian Prairies as a solo artist with a sound all his own.

From the beginning, Fletcher has proudly showcased his bilingual roots and has never shied away from hitting the road. He has performed at an impressive number of festivals, including Les Francos de Montréal, Le Festif!, Festival en Chansons de Petite-Vallée, Francofaune (Belgium), Printival (France), Vancouver Summer Festival, Regina Folk Festival, Francofête en Acadie, and Coup de cœur francophone.

With his latest album Entre-Deux, released on October 1, 2021, the Fransaskois artist juggles many hats with skill—taking on multiple roles has always been his signature approach. Flanked by Caroline Savoie and Laura Babin on backing vocals, Élisabeth Giroux (from Groupe ÉTÉ) on cello, Daniel Beaumont on select lyrics, and artistic collaborator Mat Vezio, Fletcher chooses to explore the essentials and the everyday in its most subtle and moving forms. Co-produced with Chris Dimas, the introspective and richly layered album arrives as a natural invitation: to stop waiting for the right moment or the hypothetical “someday.” The beautiful days are now.
