Children aged 3-7 years old are invited to a special Storytime activity with author Jean E. Pendziwol and her book The Quiet Hunt: A Poem for Young Foragers.
Storytime is a literacy program for children ages 3 to 7. Each activity begins with the reading of a story followed by a craft inspired by its themes. Our objective is to foster children’s love of reading by providing fun, interactive activities that will encourage them to continue reading after each session.
**Please note:
-Adults accompanying a child or children to this event do not need to book a ticket for themselves. Only the participating children need a ticket.
-As this event has limited space, please let us know as soon as possible should you wish to cancel your ticket.
-As this event has limited space, it is NOT possible to book for a group through this LePointDeVente event. Should you wish to do so, please reach out to us at info@morrin.org.

Jean E. Pendziwol
Jean E. Pendziwol is the author of Skating Wild on an Inland Sea, illustrated by Todd Stewart and published by Groundwood Books (Governor General’s Literary Award, the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award and the Elizabeth Mrazik-Cleaver Canadian Picture Book Award). She has also written When I Listen to Silence, illustrated by Carmen Mok; I Found Hope in a Cherry Tree, illustrated by Nathalie Dion; and No Dragons for Tea: Fire Safety for Kids (and Dragons), illustrated by Martine Gourbault and published by Kids Can Press. Her adult novel, The Lightkeeper’s Daughters (HarperCollins) was a Globe and Mail Bestseller, shortlisted for the HWA Debut Crown and translated into more than 17 languages. Her latest book, The Quiet Hunt: A Poem for Young Foragers, illustrated by Risa Hugo, will be released by Groundwood Books in March 2026. She lives in Northwestern Ontario, on the shores of Lake Superior.
