Claire Cameron
Claire Cameron’s memoir, How to Survive a Bear Attack, was published in 2025 by Knopf Canada. It is a national best seller and the winner of the 2025 Governor General’s Literary Award in Non-Fiction. Her bestselling novels include The Bear and The Last Neanderthal. Her writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Guardian, and she is a monthly contributor to The Globe and Mail. She lives in Toronto.
