Over the course of this workshop, you will learn about the traditions surrounding dreamcatchers and craft your own 4-inch dreamcatcher. For your creation, you will use a willow hoop. First, you will receive instruction on weaving the web and on selecting the ornaments to include. After that, you will attach leather laces, beads, feathers, and other decorations. The workshop concludes with a dreamcatcher ceremony.

A minimum of 10 participants is required to hold the workshop. The registration deadline is Sunday, November 22, at 3 p.m. At that time, a notification will be sent regarding whether or not the activity will take place.

The activity will be conducted in French. Materials will be provided, and no prior experience is required. You may bring a small snack. Participants will be offered a cup of tea.

This event is presented as part of the Shared Horizons project, made possible thanks to the support of the Government of Canada.

The Morrin Centre has no parking space. You will find metered parking in the surrounding streets, and three underground parkings within a few minutes walk. Visit our website to learn more about parking options.
