As part of the exhibition Heroes of Greece. The Age of Troy, Pointe-à-Callière is holding a series of wine-tasting workshops.

This workshop will give a clear overview of Greek wine appellations to help participants better understand the country’s diverse wine regions, styles, and traditions. A breakdown of the major historical regions such as Macedonia, the Peloponnese, Central Greece, and the Aegean Islands will illustrate how the country’s terroirs, indigenous grapes, and local practices influence Greek wine profiles. This approach will reveal the appellation structure, cultural heritage, and contemporary identity of Greek wines.

This two-hour workshop will include a tasting of six different wines served with a selection of cheeses, charcuteries, and breads served as appetizers.

The workshop will be led by renowned sommelier and wine communicator and commentator Patrick Blondin, who has been sharing his passion for wine for over 20 years.
