Montmagny is located in the Chaudière-Appalaches region at an hour east of Quebec and an hour and half west from Rivière-du-Loup.

La Déferlance

Formed in 2018, La Déferlance delivers a refreshing and vibrant take on traditional music. Their repertoire blends spirited tunes and reimagined folk songs with a wealth of original compositions. Their energetic yet refined performances reflect the band members’ diverse musical backgrounds, including jazz and classical training. Now touring across North America, they present Âmes des bois, the show inspired by their second album (set for release in May 2025).

Though only three musicians, Éric Beaudry, David Boulanger, and Pierre-Luc Dupuis sound like six!
