Step into the world of adventure and exploration at the exclusive premiere of The Slow Lane and the screening of Canada Vertical presented by Rab.

 Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring stories of individuals who dare to take the road less traveled, redefine boundaries, and embrace the thrill of the unknown.

Through the film The Slow Lane, meet Pierre Bouchard and Janick Lemieux, a couple of nomadic cyclists who have cycled more than 200,000 km since 1990 and spent nearly 14 years in the saddle of their bike. As they embark on a cycling trip into the Quebec hinterland, this documentary shares their story, their friendship, their love and their decision to travel the world, from the Pacific Volcanic Ring of Fire to the African continent.

Then immerse yourself in the epic tale of the first north-south crossing of Canada ever made with the film Canada Vertical. An unprecedented and daring 7,600 km journey linking a station in the north of Ellesmere Island to Point Pelee, the southernmost part of the country, completing the trek by ski, canoe and bike in 234 days.

This wonderful evening of screenings will be followed by a talk with the creative and determined minds behind these films. Meet Pierre Bouchard and Janick Lemieux, as well as director Alexa Fay. Prepare your questions for Nicolas Roulx, producer and adventurer who completed the entire Akor expedition recounted in Canada Vertical and Laurent Poliquin, director of the latter.
