Museums

Museums is a body of wonder ballads. When it looks at its hands, it sees clean nails and blistered fingers. Its body, a skeleton of grunge, alternative guitar music held together with pop sinews. Its pulse, carrying melody and sound through infectious rhythm and intimate vocals. In its heart, it feels urgency, catharsis and a drive to wade deeper into unknown territory. Genre is an afterthought. Instead, Museums threads genres as they come, weaving them into a gooey, psychedelic blanket.

Museums has performed at Taverne Tour, NXNE, Festival sur le Canal, Rirkrit Tiravanija’s untitled 1996 installation at Fondation PHI, Gain Fest and Nuit Blanche for Montréal Boreal. They were also awarded a fully-funded sound recording residency at ArtHaus in Toronto in 2025. In August 2026, they will be performing at Osheaga

In 2024, the band released their debut EP, Sink Your Teeth in My Brain. They released singles In Waves and Ur Best via Petit Village Records in 2025, and their latest release, Lost/Can’t Stop, released in January 2026. Their debut EP, This Can’t Be It, releases on June 12, 2026. The first single off the EP, Trade, comes out on April 10, 2026.
