Traces is the debut album from drummer, composer, and record producer Will Régnier. The genre-defying instrumental music on Traces seamlessly blends various styles to create a truly unique and engaging musical universe.

Will has surrounded himself with extraordinary musicians: David Lemyre on electric guitar, Yannick Anctil on piano and Alex Le Blanc on double bass. Each musician infuses every note with profound meaning and brings his unique personality to the music.

The quartet seeks a delicate equilibrium between the musicians’ virtuosity and a selfless approach, prioritizing the music to avoid any overshadowing by individual egos.

"The instrumental music heard on Traces has a graceful blend of jazz, folk and prog rock/post-rock, not too unlike Brian Blade’s Fellowship band. “Not A Real Place is emblematic of that, a thoughtfully composed piece with drive and behind Lowry’s guitar sting is Régnier’s orchestrating the galvanic rhythmic flow."
