ONLINE CONCERT

The cradle of Baroque music, Italy experienced a great flurry of musical activity during this era. The elegance and sumptuous harmonies of the Italian Baroque repertoire are gathered here in an opulent concert featuring an offering of several delights from this thriving period. The programme features Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto in C minor, “Amato bene,” showcasing Italian violinist Elisa Citterio, who for several years held the position of first violin at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala di Milano before accepting the post of music director of Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra in Toronto.
