As Chez.Kito.Kat Records continues its journey toward celebrating 20 years of activity, the Montreal-based label returns to White Wall Studio on October 24th for a special double release party celebrating two new releases from its roster: the new album by Montreal duo Aguma and the new EP by Safia Nihil.
For the occasion, we are bringing together four live performances exploring different shades of chill electronic music, from futur dub to ambiant or downtempo. Aguma will present a live set drawn from their new album, while Safia Nihil will perform material from their forthcoming EP. They will be joined by Montreal-based producer IRL and producer Element Kuuda, for an evening built around immersive live electronics, experimental sounds and visual projections.
The night will also feature video projections throughout the space, as well as a Chez.Kito.Kat Records distro offering releases and merchandise from the label.
The event starts at 6PM and ends at 10PM. This is a BYOB event, and we strongly recommend bringing cushions or yoga mats so you can settle in and enjoy the performances comfortably.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Capacity is limited, so we strongly encourage you to get your tickets in advance.
