IF THE POET
IF's poetry channels the wisdom of Spirit, the rage of the wounded and the yearning that resides in every human heart.
He says, "Every poem I write is a shout out to the sacredness of our days, a three chord party jam, and a tribute to the triumph of love over fear.”
IF is a 2-time Canadian National Slam Poetry Champion, Winner of Buffalo International Slam and placed third in World Cup of Slam, held in Paris, France.
He is the subject of the full-length CBC documentary "IF THE POET", chronicling his journey into the world of Slam Poetry, beginning at age 50.
He has performed across Canada and Internationally. After more than 40 years in Toronto, IF and his partner now call Montreal home.
