Journey to the Mile End of the Night is a bilingual comedy, written by Alain Mercieca whose unique style gave us DéPFLIES and CAFé CAFé. The play is half improv, half scripted, always with touches of low-fi poetic insanity. A unique, Montreal theatre experience.
Journey to the Mile End of the Night follows the story of Bike Bouffe, a Bike Co-op-Resto in historic Mile End of Montreal, the passionate employees and their dedication to a cause. A wild tale about what it means to truly care about a community, your friends, random strangers, and the food that goes in their mouths. An homage to the beauty of Montreal and a comedy about all of the random shit that goes down on bike paths, bixies and in the deep corners of the Mile End.
