Three funny ladies cooking up comedy…Madame is Marilyn DT (The Fresh Paint; Improvised Bridgerton), Marielle McCrum (SKAAATCH; This & That: An Improv and Sketch Comedy Show), and Sara Meleika (Inside Scoop; They Go Low, We Go Laugh). Madame is delighted to be back at Montreal Sketchfest, where they made their debut in 2022. Get ready for a little sugar, spice and everything but the bagel seasoning in this comedic melding of minds!

MOM’S GIRLS :

Mom’s Girls is a female/non-binary sketch troupe based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Allison Kelly, Andie Bulman, Elizabeth Hicks and Stef Curran have been performing together as a troupe for nearly five years. We’ve written and performed 10 shows—most recently at Toronto SketchFest 2023. Our brand could be described as…wholesome dirt. Sexy fun? Politically-charged buffoonery? Feminist clown? For example, one of our recent shows included biting satire about government negligence toward waste management in “Ms. Frizzle at the Dump,” and then ended with a Wicked parody and a group hug. At our shows, we get laughs, we get groans, and we get high-pitched party girl “WOOOOOs!”. We’re serving CODCO meets The Babysitters Club.

JON BLAIR : 

2016's Best Newcomer and 2019's Best of Fest, Jon Blair claws his way out of a tomb once a year to perform irreverent and absurdist solo sketch comedy at Montreal Sketchfest, both because it’s fun AND because they summon him to do so with an amulet.
