Jo Cormier

A comedian to discover! A native of Gentilly, an old nuclear power plant in Quebec, Jo Cormier shared his parents' desire to become a comedian even before starting school. Since then, his passion has grown steadily; he likes to surprise people and make them laugh, whether by pretending to be an oceanographer at ‘An almost perfect supper’, by improvising in Web clips or on the stage. After having participated in the Mobilo Aquafest, the Zoofest and the Mike Ward is listening Podcast, it was in the summer of 2017 that he was finally noticed on the billboards of Place des Arts while participating in the gala ‘Juste stand- up’ with Patrick Groulx. In 2018, he presented his first solo show Jo Cormier Crowbar at various festivals and at the comedy club Bordel. He also regularly performs the opening shows for Guillaume Wagner, Julien Lacroix and Yannick De Martino. In May 2019, he will present his new show Jo and the Golden Kimono. jocormier.ca/

Michelle Desrochers

A mocking face An outstanding punch Michelle Desrochers excels in classic stand-up. She has a preference for extirpating chuckles from the audience through a high dose of self-deprecation. A graduate in literary studies, Michelle often uses colloquial speech even though she has a preference for the absurd and the vulgar at the end of the sentence. An eminent improviser, Michelle is recognized as one of the best in this field, even winning the World of Improvisation in 2012 in Switzerland. In 2018, she participated in many shows at the Minifest and made a name for herself during her performances at the Zoofest. The same year, she presented her first solo show, All Dressed, which sold out.
