Mad Love offers a journey through over 400 years of music dedicated to love. In this rich selection of vocal and instrumental works, soprano Myriam Leblanc, accompanied by Ensemble Mirabilia—featuring Grégoire Jeay on traverso and Christophe Gauthier on harpsichord—delicately explores the many facets of this universal feeling. Exalted joy, heartbreaking separation, the stirrings of first love: each nuance of love is rendered with grace and sensitivity.

Performing on period Baroque instruments, the ensemble creates a warm and refined sound, characteristic of early instruments, which beautifully enhances this musical exploration. The resulting intimate atmosphere evokes the whisper of a romantic dialogue. The surprise is all the more delightful when more contemporary songs such as Jacques Brel’s Ne me quitte pas or Barbara’s Dis, quand reviendras-tu? echo through the hall—reimagined with the same historical instruments.

Join us for the VIP Cocktail immediately following the concert to meet the artists and their baroque instruments while sipping sparkling wine.
