The Alliance Française of Calgary and La Cité des Rocheuses are thrilled to host the internationally acclaimed Quatuor Elysée as part of their 30th-anniversary tour across Canada. Join us for an unforgettable evening of classical music on Thursday, May 8th, at 7:00 p.m. at La Cité des Rocheuses showcasing the quartet's incredible talent and expressive interpretations.

Founded in 1995, Quatuor Elysée has captivated audiences worldwide with their exceptional performances. The quartet, featuring Vadim Tchijik and Pablo Schatzman on violins, Andrei Malakhov on viola, and Igor Kiritchenko on cello, blends expressive power with originality and cultural diversity. Celebrating 30 years of musical excellence, their performances leave a lasting impression on audiences around the globe.

The evening’s program includes timeless works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninov, Giacomo Puccini, and Claude Debussy. Each piece promises to take the audience on a journey through rich, emotional landscapes brought to life by the quartet’s unique style.

As part of their 2025 tour, Quatuor Elysée will perform across the Alliance Française network, including major cities like Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, and Calgary.
