This special tour, available by pre-booking only, offers a unique opportunity to explore areas of HMCS Haida that are typically off-limits to the public.

The Behind the Scenes Tour involves navigating HMCS Haida National Historic Site via a series of hatches, narrow passageways, raised thresholds, and steep ladders. Be aware of deck surfaces that can be slippery when wet and watch out for low overhead clearance. This program may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions and mobility issues.
Participants are required to wear closed-toed shoes and must be 16 years of age or older.

By car: Visitors can park free of charge in the parking lot of Woodside National Historic Site. Spaces are limited.
By public transit: From the Kitchener Bus Station, take route # 6 and get off at the corner of Lancaster Street and Wellington Street. Walk eastward along Wellington Street. Once you have passed the overhead railway bridge, cross Wellington Street and walk up Woodside's pedestrian laneway. The laneway will lead you to the national historic site.
