Formed in 2021 in the Ottawa–Gatineau region, Rooty Naky and the Rootables blend reggae, neo-soul, Afrobeats and African influences into a vibrant, uplifting sound. Through multilingual lyrics and a shared commitment to peace, love and justice, the collective celebrates diversity and the connections between cultures. Their motto, “Humanity First,” sums up their mission: putting people at the heart of music.

Based in Montréal, Akashik Nomad reimagines Afrobeats with a modern twist, blending soul, jazz and urban influences. Driven by infectious rhythms and universal storytelling, their music invites audiences on a journey of discovery and reconnection with what truly matters. A rich, cross-cultural sonic experience that transcends borders and speaks straight to the heart.
