Blaise Labamba’s show celebrates Kinshasa’s golden age of the 1980s. Great ambiance, fantastic music, intense joy and, of course, La SAPE. A seasoned musician and former member of Général Defao’s Big Stars band, Blaise La Bamba masterfully leads his group through fast-paced rhythmic breaks, long flights of syncopated chords, and improvisations featuring keyboards and guitars. Congolese rumba and soukous in its purest form !
