Formed in Montreal in 2017, Only The Righteous is a musical collective with a diverse identity. At the crossroads of hip-hop, jazz and R&B, the group also draws on Afro-Caribbean sounds such as kompa, makossa and bend skin, creating a rich and vibrant universe. Clerel and Only The Righteous blend original compositions and covers, performed in French, English, Creole and Medumba. Rooted in Motown music, their arrangements reveal musical sensitivity and great instrumental mastery.
