Karim Cissé is a deeply committed musician whose music is a vibrant fusion of African influences and Afro-Groove. He infuses his compositions with captivating rhythms and messages of peace, resilience, hope and sharing. On stage, he captivates audiences with his powerful voice and infectious energy. Accompanied by his flute and calabash, he creates an immersive, sensory experience that transports audiences to the heart of tradition and the arts. Winner of the Best Male Artist trophy at the Kilimandjaro Music Awards in Toronto in 2022 and the Prix du Talent Pluridimensionnel in Quebec City in 2024, he is currently working on his solo album ‘Koun Faya Koun’, which means ‘Be, and it is’, due for release in the coming months.
