KAR33M is an award-winning Nigerian-Canadian Afrobeats artist, singer/songwriter, and live performer with over eight years of experience. He has shared stages with renowned artists such as Seun Kuti and Egypt 80, Falz, Pheelz, Lojay, and Femi Kuti. Drawing inspiration from contemporary acts like Burna Boy, Little Simz, and Fela Kuti, KAR33M’s live performances are immersive, combining narrative storytelling and sound to engage audiences. Having performed for over 10K live attendees and 500K+ broadcast viewers across North America and Africa, he recently performed at Felabration in Lagos. In 2023, he made history by teaching Afrobeats to 1,000 students in Ottawa, fostering the next generation of artists. As the founder and creative director of Woke Studios, he supports Afro-diverse artists and is featured in a Bell TV1 documentary on Afrobeat’s impact in Canada. KAR33M was also honored with the Fela Kuti Afrobeat Innovation Award in Canada. With past performances at major events like Felabration Nigeria, Lulaworld Festival, and the Canadian Elite Basketball League Championship, KAR33M’s music is rooted in truth-telling and healing. He is determined to take his Afrobeats sound to cities worldwide.
