Regeneration is a group in love with the Roots Reggae popularized in Jamaica in the 1970s. They want to regenerate this sound, honor it and give it another breath of life, while it is no longer played much compared to other sub-genres of Reggae. And what better way to do this than with a band that brings together several generations! In its heart is as much a doyen of reggae as young music students. The choice of Roots Reggae comes down to an attachment to authentic sounds and lyrics, set to rhythms that contrast with the stress of modern life. As Noé Regen, the band’s singer, writes, “Live your life at 60bpm, time and space for those you love” (Reggae Stylie).
