In December 2017, Eduardo Ramirez and Mac Gregore Brunis met by chance at a dance party in Montreal. These two Latin music lovers thus realized their passion for salsa and decided to create Sabor 19 in early 2018. After several months of planning, Sabor 19 will welcome other musicians into its ranks and become a full orchestra. Why the number 19: In their minds, 2019 symbolized the year of our blossoming, the beginning of a beautiful story. The Sabor 19 orchestra now has 11 members and their repertoire consists of salsa and cumbia. Since 2019, Sabor 19 has played over 25 concerts in Montreal and Quebec, making a name for itself on the Latin scene in Montreal. In 2022 they began creating its original compositions, always with the aim of making the world dance, sharing the human warmth and joy of the street with the public.
