Bumaranga is a seven musician band featuring a blend of typical Colombian percussion and flutes, with a modern touch provided by drums and electric instruments. The result is a fusion of sounds that perpetuates the roots and essence of Afro-Colombian music. The African and indigenous influences are pronounced, with penetrating, fast-paced rhythms. The result is a music rich in authentic sounds, where the attractive rhythms of traditional drums invite you to dance in a festive atmosphere. By mixing Cumbia, Puya, Tambora and Mapalé, each performance by Bumaranga is an invitation to discover and appreciate the musical essence of Colombia. With this in mind, the group has just launched its second production, “Fiesta en el Barrio”.
