Self-taught musician and winner of the Syli d'Argent at the 17th edition of the Syli d'Or de la musique du monde in 2024, Boubé will be presenting his first EP, Voyager, at a special concert on 29 March at Club Balattou. During this exceptional evening, Boubé and his musicians will unveil the compositions of this eagerly awaited project.

With his Berber nomadic rhythms from the central Sahara, Boubé has literally seduced audiences and critics alike. It has to be said that he offers "something that no other Montrealer on the music scene offers: authentic desert blues" (Le Devoir, 2024). A writer, composer and

performer on acoustic and electric guitar, percussion and drums, he has worked with Bombino and Mdou Moctar, the most respected figures in Tuareg music. At the confluence of meditative melodies and rock sounds.

Recorded in Montreal, Voyager, due for release on 29 March 2025, brings together 6 previously unreleased tracks about peace, friendship and travel.
