Born in Dakar, BO DIAW grew up in a family of artists and developed a passion for music from his adolescence. At 17, he joined the Mballo Assiko group, where he stood out in sketches and religious songs. A singer, songwriter, and performer, he blends pop, reggae, dancehall, and afrobeat, while honoring his traditional roots. He has collaborated with international artists such as Didier Awadi, Mark Gabriel, and Elage Diouf, and in 2013, he signed with the Canadian production company Promoimages. His debut single, "C'EST MA BLONDE!", became a summer hit. In 2015, he released "HYPNOTIZE" and appeared on the show "En direct de l'univers" in 2017. After a time in Senegal, he joined the Made In Africa label and recorded the hit "YAW LAY WEUR" in 2017. In 2018, he won the "Artist or Group World Music of the Year" award at the Gala Dynastie. BO DIAW continues to promote Senegalese and Canadian culture through his performances and his new album "The Village" (November 2024), after traveling the world and winning multiple awards, including "Best Male Artist" at the Kilimandjaro Music Awards in 2023.
