Reflecting the streets of their native Bologna, the members of Rumba de Bodas radiate a galvanizing energy imbued with lightness and an openness to the world beyond. Since 2008, this bohemian band’s festive spirit has been spreading joy and optimism wherever it goes. Their music is a medley of funk, soul, Latin, ska, reggae swing and Afrobeat rhythms, backed by a lively brass section to deliver an astonishing array of very funky musical arrangements, and they are coming to Montreal to present their latest album, Yen Ko (2023).
