Forró, a cultural expression originating from the northeast of Brazil, holds significant importance throughout the country. Its traditional rhythms such as "baião," "arrasta pé," and "xote" inspire dance and song, driven by the compositions of renowned artists like Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Anastácia, and others. Lara Klaus, a multi-instrumentalist hailing from Recife deeply immersed in this musical universe, formed the group "Forró de Lá" alongside Rodrigo Simões (guitar and vocals), Gabriel Schwartz (flute, percussion, and vocals), and Dominique Poirier (accordion). Together, they are committed to bringing a touch of Brazilian spirit to Montreal, providing an entertaining experience for the audience.
