The Burning BRASs Band is a feminist brass and percussion band with a mission to increase the place of women and gender diversity on the local music scene. Based in Montreal, the band has been in operation since the summer of 2022.

The Burning BRASs Band revisits various classics from the popular music repertoire, as well as a number of seminal pieces from the brass band tradition here and elsewhere, using arrangements of popular songs with a festive, exhilarating funk flavour.
