José Lobo

Jose Lobo was born in Venezuela, raised in Brazil and currently living in Canada. Influenced by the folklore of the Venezuelan tonada and the rhythms of bossa nova, he continues to explore his identity as a Latin American in the diaspora through his songwriting. Lobo has performed in streets and stages across Europe, North Africa and the Americas.

Lapelúda

Lapelúda is a writer, composer and producer of folk songs steeped in sweet nostalgia. Based in Tiohtiake (Montreal), the artist embraces her Colombian and Quebecois identities in a trilingual debut album entitled 'Caídas', released in 2022. Emotional and hypnotic, Lapelúda's music invites us to lull ourselves through the process of post-traumatic shock following sexual violence. In 2023, the album received its first nomination at the Latin Awards Canada for Album of the Year.
