Since his 1st album, Petit Bateau, launched in March 2020, followed by a single in April 2022, on the Disques Nuits d'Afrique label, Dakka Dembélé has been very active, producing 4 acoustic capsules and making 3 trips to Côte d'Ivoire (including an appearance at MASA 2022) to work on his 2nd album, scheduled for autumn 2023. Dakka Dembélé is a Montreal reggae artist of Malian-Ivorian origin. Proud and committed, he distils powerful reggae with a touch of Afro and a human touch.
