Nadine Levry has an amazing voice! After a stint as the lead singer for the legendary orchestra at Abidjan’s Hotel Ivoire, which hosts all the major events in the country’s economic capital, Levry co-founded the popular group Bella Mondo Africa, the country’s first all-woman band, still going strong today. So, she already had an impressive track record when, in 2019, she arrived in Montreal where, as a worthy emissary of her culture, she celebrates the rhythms and dances of the Dida people of the southwestern Ivory Coast.
