A fusion of indigenous rhythms with those brought by enslaved African peoples, Bumaranga’s music features traditional instruments such as tambora, alegre drum, gaita and Millo flute to create their alluring Cumbia, Puya, Tambora and Mapalé rhythms that are harnessed by the lead singer’s powerful and clear voice and amplified with drums and electric instruments.
