Faithful to Bantu (meaning “human” in the Kikongo language) tradition and to its beats, redolent of coded messages while also conveying its urban influence, Oluwa Banjo sings of the preciousness of life, the value of nature and the importance of caring. A positive soul with great communicative energy, a native of the Tiko region in southwest Cameroon, he stood out at Mützig Star 2016, the country’s top national music competition.
