Are you and/or one of your friends single? Come with your crew or solo to attend PITCH-A-FRIEND, an evening where 10 people take the stage to pitch, with a slideshow presentation, a single person they know well.

About 10 singles will be pitched on stage in total. The pitches will be short (3–4 minutes), funny, and kindhearted.

We are handing out colored wristbands at the door to show your status, so you'll know exactly who's down to chat:

Green: I'm single, come say hi!

Red: Taken (perfect for anyone acting as a wingman or wingwoman).

Yellow: Other (ex. Open relationship)

Non-singles are welcome—and highly encouraged—to come play wingman/wingwoman for their friends. We are expecting a crowd of about 150 people.

WANT TO PITCH YOUR BESTIE?

Think you’ve got the best slides in the city? Apply to present your friend via THIS FORM. The Match-moi team will reach out in early August (heads up: spots fill up fast, so don't wait!).

Note: Everyone needs a ticket, whether you’re pitching or just there for the show. If your plans change or you aren’t selected to present, you can grab a refund up to 24 hours before the event. But honestly? You should still come—it’s going to be a blast.

Program Details:

7:30 PM - Arrival & Icebreaker Game: Along with your wristband, you will get an optional icebreaker game to play while chatting with the crowd. There is a small surprise for whoever scores the most points. Arrive early to play; it is the perfect excuse to approach anyone who catches your eye.

8:00 PM - Pitches : A QR code will be displayed during the evening giving access to a form where you can indicate which pitched people you'd like to connect with. (To see it all more concretely in photos and videos, we recommend checking out our Instagram!)

10:00 PM | After the pitches | Mix & Mingle: We keep the vibe going so you can continue chatting. There will be about 150 of us in total!

This event is first and foremost a fun, relaxed excuse to get a room full of singles together for the night. It is a chance to spark a connection in real life, far away from the dating apps. And even if you do not meet anyone, you will at least spend the night laughing, which is never a waste of time.

The terrace opens at 6:00 PM. If you want to grab dinner on-site beforehand, two restaurants are available: L'Instant (5th floor) and Le Montréal (Pavillon du Québec).

Important Information & Access Conditions

The event takes place on the Le Jardin patio at the Casino de Montréal. In case of bad weather (rain or storms), the evening will automatically move indoors to Le Pavillon 67 restaurant on the 5th floor of the Casino. You will receive an update the morning of the event if this happens.

Access to the Casino de Montréal is strictly restricted to individuals aged 18 or older. A valid government-issued photo ID will be required at the entrance for anyone who looks under 25.

Proper attire is required, respecting the Casino's dress code. Clean jeans are fine, but any clothing with violent imagery or associated with a violent group is prohibited. Casino staff reserves the right to refuse entry or evict anyone not complying with the code or standards of conduct.

Coat check is completely free for all participants. Please note that backpacks are prohibited on the gaming floors and in the event area; they must be left at the coat check when you arrive.

No cash payments will be accepted on-site for activity registration. Bar service is available, but drinks are the individual responsibility of participants according to regular Casino rates.

Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image. If you do not wish to appear on these materials, please let the Match-moi team know on-site.

Refunds up to 24 hours before the event: If you can no longer make it, please email info@lepointdevente.com directly with your transaction number so your spot can be reassigned. Thank you!

The event takes place on the beautiful Le Jardin patio, located on the PR (Promenade) Level of the Casino de Montréal. Once you enter the casino, just follow the signs leading to the terrace. If you aren't sure where to go, feel free to ask any casino staff member—they will be happy to guide you. Make sure to give yourself a bit of extra time when you arrive, as it is about a 5-minute walk from the parking areas to the terrace. In case of bad weather like rain or storms, the event will automatically move indoors to Le Pavillon 67 restaurant on the 5th floor of the Casino.

On-site parking is completely free for all Casino de Montréal guests. When you arrive by car, follow the signs to the outdoor or multi-level parking lots. We recommend arriving a bit early, as it takes about 5 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the Le Jardin patio (located on the PR Level).
