The Jerry Cans
The Jerry Cans create music inspired by their hometown of Iqaluit, Nunavut and life in the high Arctic. The unique mix of indie folk-rock and traditional Inuit throat singing is sung primarily in the Indigenous language of Inuktitut. The Jerry Cans are passionate about helping to preserve the Inuktitut language, especially as the north evolves, and are committed to challenging common misconceptions about life in the Arctic. Their unique tunes and reputation for getting elders and young people dancing has forced people to notice this high-energy group! Come take a stroll through the streets of Iqaluit and catch a glimpse of life in Arctic.Upcoming Events
