With "Frétillant et Agile" (Frizzy and Agile), Jocelyn Sioui brings Auhaïtsic, an unlikely Wendat hero, back to life. How does this illustrious unknown, viewed with suspicion by his own people, manage to save his nation from extinction and change the course of history?

A seasoned puppeteer and fabulous storyteller, Jocelyn Sioui delights in bringing larger-than-life, colorful characters to life. Author of "Mononk Jules," which he adapted for the stage, Sioui knows that still waters run deep.

The show "Frétillant et Agile" is based on the tale of the same name, written by Jocelyn Sioui and published by Éditions Hannenorak.

"Hold on tight. From here on out, it's a story that follows the current." “— Jocelyn Sioui (from the book of the same name)

This show is a collaboration between La Slague, Théâtre du Nouvel-Ontario, and the Centre franco-ontarien de Folklore.

This show includes improvisational elements.

The best seats for viewing the English surtitles are in rows G and above.

TNO and La Slague are proud to offer some performances of their adult shows with English surtitles. You can invite your English-speaking spouses or friends to attend our shows in French!

About Surtitles™

The term "Surtitles™" refers to the translation of spoken words or dialogue projected onto a screen, usually placed above the stage. The projection occurs simultaneously with the performance, allowing Francophile audience members to discover and enjoy a show in French.
