After two sold-out concerts in Montreal, Original Gros Bonnet returns with a massive, scalpel-sharp new show, marking the Montreal premiere of their new album: Le vide, la peur, l'éclair.

From vertigo to thrill. From doubt to ecstasy. It's a whole range of emotions and nuances that the band transposes into music in this, their most ambitious concert to date.

The stage is bursting at the seams. Franky Fade delivers his lyrics with the precision of a surgeon and the intensity of a raving lunatic. Behind him, the musicians of OGB twist genres, demolish walls, and reinvent in their own way what a Quebec hip-hop group could be in 2025. Jazz? Yes. Rap? Of course. But also moments when everything explodes, when nothing has a name and emotions can't be repressed.

It's a single date, it's at home, and it promises to be OGB's most memorable show to date.

Original Gros Bonnet

Montreal based, alternative hip-hop group Original Gros Bonnet has stood out since its inception thanks to its meticulous songwriting and uniquely versatile instrumentation. The septet has been performing on Quebec stages since 2018, building a reputation for inspired performances that showcase the virtuosity of its members and the chemistry that unites them musically. Their previous album, Tous les jours printemps, saw them tour every corner of the province and receive numerous mentions, including CBC's 2020 Top 20 albums of the year list. The group now unveils the result of years of effort—a triptych titled Le vide, la peur, l’éclair—in which their distinctive sound is unmistakable through songs that demonstrate their acquired maturity and constant desire to experiment. In 2025, they will embark on a tour across Quebec and beyond its borders.

Original Gros Bonnet is composed of Samuel Brais-Germain (production), Arnaud Castonguay (saxophone), Vincent Favreau (keyboards), François Marceau (vocals), and Louis René (drums).
