Songs for a New World is a powerful contemporary musical about the moments that change everything.
Through a series of moving, intimate and electrifying songs, the show follows characters standing at a crossroads: the instant before a decision, a departure, a confession, a leap of faith. With music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, this production blends pop, gospel, jazz and musical theatre into an emotional journey about hope, courage, love and reinvention.
Presented at Bar Le Cocktail, in the heart of Montreal’s Village, this version offers a uniquely intimate and immersive experience. Set inside a bar, the audience is brought close to the performers, creating a raw, authentic and immediate connection with the music and the stories. Rather than watching from a distance, guests are invited to feel like they are part of the action, surrounded by the voices, emotions and energy of the show.
