Smash Mouth
Smash Mouth stands tall as a global phenomenon, a force to be
reckoned with over its illustrious three-decade journey. From
humble origins in San Jose, CA, they've transcended local
curiosity, invaded national playlists, and evolved into international
live phenoms. Smash Mouth, a name etched in gold as multi-
platinum and Grammy-nominated pop-rock icons, has navigated
the realms of legendary status with unparalleled finesse.
In the late '90s, Smash Mouth embarked on a relentless touring
spree, solidifying their legendary live performer status with a
timeless and universal appeal. As the 21st century dawned, they
seamlessly transitioned into an international household name,
forever woven into the fabric of popular culture. Their live shows
are nothing short of spectacular—exciting, entertaining, and
overflowing with hit-laden extravagance. Smash Mouth's
electrifying stage presence springs from their natural all-
inclusiveness. With music universally adored and an allure
spanning wide, they can command any audience, anywhere in
the world, leaving them clamoring for more every single time.
Simply put, EVERYONE loves Smash Mouth.
A trove of international awards, accolades, and achievements
over three decades cements Smash Mouth's legacy. Their TV
and film appearances are too numerous to count, including a
record-breaking stint on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and
pivotal roles in classics like "Rat Race" and the monumental
"Shrek." Smash Mouth is the unmistakable soundtrack to the
most-watched movie in the history of the universe, forever
embracing the title of "The Shrek Band."
Beyond massive international tours with icons like U2, Lenny
Kravitz, *NSync, and KISS, Smash Mouth's versatility shines
through collaborations with showbiz legends ranging from
Engelbert Humperdinck to George Clinton to Neil Diamond.
Yet, Smash Mouth's true prowess lies in their music. Between
1997 and 2002, they notched up an extraordinary six top 20 hits,
dominating the airwaves at the turn of the century. Two of these
hits, "Walkin' On The Sun" and "All-Star," soared to #1 and
lingered there, with the latter recently surpassing a mind-
boggling ONE BILLION streams on Spotify. Their social media
acclaim, recognized by Billboard, Rolling Stone, Newsweek and
many other prominent outlets is a testament to their enduring
influence, with a YouTube channel boasting over 1 million
subscribers.
The five maestros of Smash Mouth (Paul DeLisle, Zach Goode,
Michael Klooster, Randy Cooke and Sean Hurwitz) have solidified
their international reputation as world-class musicians and
performers. Committed to giving 100% effort in every show, their
inherent and determined ability to connect with any audience
worldwide is nothing short of astounding. Smash Mouth's
electrifying live shows make their legions of fans winners every

Drawing his theme from the clouds and good weather, Fredz, accompanied by his musicians, takes the audience on a journey with his songs that blend pop and rap.
A vibrant concert, where Fredz confirms his closeness with his audience.

Between the crazy Mixmania adventure in 2012 and his memorable performance in Starmania ten years later — “The very talented William Cloutier moves us with Quand on arrive en ville and, above all, S. O. S. d’un terrien en détresse, the anthem of Johnny Rockfort. A tour de force by Cloutier that reminds us of Daniel Balavoine’s vocal feats!” — we read in La Presse! — what is certain is that the winner of Star Académie 2021 has managed to establish himself in the Quebec music scene. His first album On ira, nominated for Album of the Year - Pop at the ADISQ in 2022, has now accumulated over five million streams. And that was just the beginning for the charming and talented singer-songwriter, who will be releasing his second album, L’amour, on March 14, 2025.
Passionate about music and songwriting, William Cloutier began competing in contests at a very young age… and quickly made a habit of winning the top honors! At the age of eight, he won the public's favorite award and first prize in his category at Victoriaville en chanson, a competition aimed at fostering artistic talent. This led him, in 2008, to venture beyond his hometown when he joined the first cohort of La Cour des grands, a variety show hosted by Grégory Charles that featured young talents. He describes this experience as extremely formative.
Then, in 2012, at the age of 16, he was selected to compete in the third season of the phenomenon Mixmania, which had marked an entire generation of Quebecers. From the 10,000 hopefuls at the start, they were down to eight, four boys and four girls, who would participate. His group Heart Beat won the competition. This led to the release of an album and a significant tour, selling over 25,000 tickets. William also reflected on this unique experience in the documentary Mixmania: 20 Years Later, available on Crave in the summer of 2022.
William Cloutier, also skilled in acting, appeared in the series 30 vies in 2015 before completing his acting training at the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe. A graduate of the theater school, he quickly returned to his first love: music. In 2021, he decided to try his luck on Star Académie, the popular TV competition that had returned to Quebec after several years of hiatus. He realized just how much he had missed music. “The acting, that’s something I learned. Singing, I was born with it. And nothing makes you appreciate something more than being deprived of it,” he said. After a particularly tough competition, William triumphed and was crowned the winner of Star Académie 2021.
In January 2022, William Cloutier released On ira, his first album. Armed with his talent, commitment, and sensitivity, the performer, now also an author and composer, offered eleven original songs, co-written with his producer Benjamin Nadeau. He was thrilled to see On ira, which has now amassed over six million streams, nominated at the ADISQ Gala for Album of the Year - Pop. In the meantime, alongside Star Académie finalist Lunou Zucchini, he embarked on a major tour of shows directed by René Richard Cyr, which took the two stars to over thirty cities in Quebec.
At the last show of the tour, Luc Plamondon was present. He met William backstage and revealed that they were looking for someone to complete the cast for the new version of Starmania, soon to be launched in Europe, and that his voice would be a perfect fit for the songs that Balavoine sang as Johnny Rochefort… A few months later, William took on the role of the leader of the criminal gang. “Meeting this character, filled with a violence I don’t have, is a unique opportunity to explore and offer something that challenges me night after night,” William confessed. In the fall of 2022 and winter of 2023, he performed over a hundred times on stage in Paris, in front of 3,800 people each night. He then toured France, Switzerland, and Belgium, before triumphing in Quebec in the summer of 2024, in front of his own people, with a total of 361 performances and 1,200,000 spectators!
In 2022 and again in 2024, the artist realized another dream. Chosen by Disney, he first dubbed Shawn Mendes' sung voice in the French version of Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, and then the spoken voice of the bird Zazu in Mufasa: The Lion King.
Building on the success of his projects, William Cloutier is actively preparing for the release of L’amour, his highly anticipated second album, due on March 14, 2025. Once again crafted with the collaboration of the talented Benjamin Nadeau, this album will explore the theme of love in all its forms, with both emotion and madness. The album also features collaborations with various creators and performers — Claude Bégin, Laurence Nerbonne, King Melrose, Zach Chico, and Raphaëlle Roy — who will deliver several of the twelve tracks of L’amour in duets with William!

Alongside Benjamin Nadeau (director and producer who has collaborated with William Cloutier, Ludovick Bourgeois, Dee Holt, Mc12, etc.), five artists — Gabriel Fredette, Justin Roy, Katrine Sansregret, Phil Rxcket, and Zach Chico — came together to realize the dream of their lives: to create a collective of musicians where each shines with their unique talent!
This collective, named Classe Moyenne, offers these five artists a space for free collaboration, allowing them to merge their respective universes. In less than a year, Classe Moyenne has produced 13 songs, one of which, Je me souviens, was crowned "Future Star iHeartRadio" for June 2024. On December 27th, the collective released the song Classe Moyenne, a track with biographical undertones that tells the story of the birth of their friendship. In less than two weeks, the song surpassed 200,000 streams on Spotify.
The year 2025 looks promising for Classe Moyenne!
